The Playa Park hotel is modern and spacious. When you enter you’re
greeted by the sound of running water from a water feature in the lobby.
It’s very relaxing. The lobby is very light thanks to the glass roof.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful.
This is an excellent hotel for families and there is a children’s
playground and the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. The
front of the hotel is grassed and has lots of nice trees.

There is internet in reception. The hotel has 2 swimming pools that are
surrounded with a large terraced area. There is a restaurant that has a
buffet service for all 3 meals of the day. They can also prepare food for
people with special dietary requirements. In addition to the restaurant
there’s a café-bar where you can get burgers, pizzas and chips.
The hotel has one night a week dedicated to seafood. This is their gala
evening and it’s accompanied by music and Spanish champagne (cava).
They hold other themed nights as well. Information is in reception.
The Playa Park hotel is big on entertainment and you’ll find staff
whose job is to organise events during the daytime. At night there is music,
karaoke and Mr and Mrs Playa Park competition.
The kids will love the entertainment as there’s a juggler, clown,
musician, face painting and a mini disco.
Bigger kids can enjoy archery, rifle practice, pool games, mini golf,
pool and table tennis.
Facilities For the Disabled
The Playa Park Hotel Salou has rooms that have been specially adapted
for disabled use and entry by wheelchair.

The rooms at the Playa Park Hotel Salou Park Hotel are bright and modern.
Each has an en-suite bathroom with hair dryer, balcony, telephone, satellite
TV, safe, heating and air-conditioning. The balconies have views over the
pool or to the street.
Hotel Location And Facilities
This is quite a peaceful area within 5 minutes walking distance of the
main ‘going out’ area.
Beach wise you’re spoilt for choice as the nearest beach (100 metres
away) is Playa Larga, which is long and sandy. The cove of Platja dels
Capellans is less than 5 minutes walk away, and you can reach the end of
the Llevant beach in 15 minutes.
There are small shops where you can buy food and a cashpoint within a
2 minute walk.
The commercial centre of Salou where you’ll find the heart of the
nightlife is a 10 minute walk away.
Port Aventura theme park is a 10 minute drive away, together with the
adjacent water park called Caribe Aquatic park.
Golfing fans will find 4 golf clubs less than 30 minutes drive from the
Playa Park Hotel in Salou.
The Llevant beach is within a 10 minute walk. This is a long stretch of
sandy beach. Within 5 minutes walk you can also get to the smaller more
sheltered coves of Platja dels Campallans and Platja del Llenguadets. These
beaches also have life guard facilities and during peak season you should
be able to hire pedaloes here too.
How To Get From The Airport To The Hotel
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 30 minutes and cost
around 25 euros.
Via bus: There’s a bus that leaves from outside the arrivals lounge
and travels to Salou via La Pineda. The bus does a round trip back to the
airport again. A single ticket is 5.50 euros. The journey should take about
35 - 40 minutes. The hotel is to the far east of the resort of Salou. If
you get off the bus at the end of the Llevant beach you can take a taxi
for 5 minutes to the hotel.
In A Nutshell
The Playa Park Hotel Salou is in a peaceful location and has excellent
access to 2 sandy beaches. You can still access the town centre on foot
within 10 minutes. The hotel is perfect for families as there is a hug
amount of entertainment laid on.

Rack Rates
The price per person for a room in August is 53 euros per person per night
(including VAT). There is also the option to stay half board or full board.
Prices are highest in August. During peak times the hotel may insist on
a minimum stay of 3 or 4 nights.
