The Tourist Information offices in Salou have a colour fold out map of Salou that details most of the hotels. There are 3 tourist information offices:

This first office was closed for renovations on my visit in August 2006. There was a temporary office in a portacabin 20 metres away.

The Tourist Information Office In Plaza Europa

The map is called ‘Plànol’ and has a photo of a statue on the front. It’s a handy pocket size and has most of the hotels marked. The address and telephone number of each hotel is also listed and the map is clear and easy to follow. It’s good that it’s in colour as it makes it easier to distinguish where the hotels are. The map has also got information about local taxis, restaurants, bars and shops.

There’s a second map that you can also get at some hotel receptions. I was given this map at the hostal where I stayed (Hostal Salou). It’s A4 size and in grey and white. I found it really useful because it is small enough to carry round in your handbag, and I only had to fold it once, so it was quick and easy to keep pulling it out every five minutes. The information about the hotels was accurate. The only place I had trouble following the map was when I was up in Cap Salou.

If you want to plan in advance, you can contact the tourist information and ask them to send you a map.

You can get a hotel map of Salou from the tourist information and from the reception in most hotels. Salou is quite easy to find your way around, but to locate a specific hotel, it helps to have a map. The maps available are good because they are small and easy to carry.
