Review: Belvedere Hotel Salou
When you enter the Belvedere Hotel Salou you’ll find that a nice feature of this hotel is the blue painted ceiling design in reception as you enter. It also has an attractive garden area at the front. The hotel has a relaxed ambience and is good for families. The music around the pool was peaceful and calming. The lobby is very spacious with good air-conditioning and is full of comfortable and stylish wicker chairs.
Hotel FacilitiesThe pool is quite big and there’s a separate area that is not as deep especially for the young children. There’s a pool bar and a café. The hotel also has its own newsagents shop. To help you relax there’s a gym, sauna and solarium. There’s also mini-golf and night time entertainments. There’s a restaurant that is very attractive and is glass fronted which gives it a sophisticated look. The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. Hotel parking is available on request. Facilities For The DisabledThere are 5 rooms available that have been specially designed for disabled use. RoomsThere are 396 rooms all together and the hotel is comprised of two 6 storey blocks. Each room has a balcony and the balconies are all glass fronted and views are either to the street or to the pool. The rooms have en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, direct line phone and a safe. They are attractively decorated in a Mediterranean style and are light and airy. Hotel Location And Facilities
The Belvedere Hotel Salou is located on a main road out of Salou in the direction of port Aventura theme park. To get to the beach its a 5 minute taxi ride. The nearest tourist information is 2 minutes walk away on the Placa Europa. Although the hotel is next to a fairly busy road, there’s no audible traffic noise inside the hotel. How To Get From The Airport To The HotelVia Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 30 minutes and cost around 25 euros. Via bus: There’s a bus that leaves from outside the arrivals lounge and travels to Salou via La Pineda. The bus does a round trip back to the airport again. A single ticket is 5.50 euros.
