Children’s Rides At The Costa Caribe Water Park
There are rides suitable for young children. There are lifeguards at each
ride and you can rent a lifejacket as well. Most kids had them on when
I visited. I would say that the youngest children I saw on the rides were
about 6 or 7 years old. If you have younger children you can take them
around the ‘Crazy River’ (description later) or into the swimming
pool.

| La Laguna De Woody Is A Great Place
For Smaller Children To Play Safely |
La Laguna De Woody (Woody’s Lagoon)
This is a supervised area with a climbing frame and small kiddy sized
slides.
Juegos De Agua (Water Games)
Fun games for big and little kids with water.
Piscina Infantil (Infant Swimming Pool)
 |
| The Wave Pool Is A Major Attraction |
This pool is at the far end of the wave pool and is safe and shallow.
Carib Climbing (Climbing Frame)
This is in the indoor area and so you can enjoy it even if you visit in
October as the indoor area stays open after the outdoor rides have closed.
The indoor zone also has slides for children.
Rides For Adults In The Costa Caribe Water Park
El Gran Caribe (The Great Caribe)
This is an indoor area with a big flume and heated swimming pool. The
flume is enclosed and so you plummet for what seems like an eternity until
it spits you out the end into the pool. Meanwhile your stomach remains
at the top!
El Triangulo De Las Bermudas (The Bermuda Triangle)
This is an enormous outdoor pool that is very relaxing to swim in. Every
10 minutes or so the waves start, which is not so bad if you are sitting
in the shallow water at the edge, but a bit rougher if you happen to be
standing in deeper water! There’s also a water gun that is bound
to spray you when you least expect it – and it’s cold! Everyone
who got sprayed screamed!
Bahama Beach
It’s not a beach with sand, but a concreted area with sunbeds. The
perfect spot for sunbathing next to the wave pool.

The Mambo And Limbo Will Leave You
Breathless |
The Mambo And Limbo
You need a rubber ring to go down this flume. First you climb the steps
to dizzying heights and then wait your turn to be launched hurtling down
one of the two slides. They are open so you can see the sky above you.
Although if you get a good speed up you feel like you’re going to
fly out of the slide when you go round the bends!

| El Tifon Is A Giant Flume |
El Tifon
This slide starts in the indoor area. It’s closed in so you can’t
see where you’re going. You twist and turn, and even go outside of
the building over the heads of the sunbathers on the grass outside. Then
you plop out into the indoor pool.
El Rio Loco ( The Crazy River)
If you want to relax grab your rubber ring and float around this river.
It winds its way round the whole park and it has its own current to take
you. So you don’t have to swim – just relax and enjoy the
ride.
El Torrente ( The Torrent)
 |
| Flying Out Of The Ride Called El Torrente |
This ride has its own rings that seat up to 4 people. The rings are tougher
than the ones you rent because they have to be – this ride is rough!
From the minute you start to hurtle down the watery slope you’ll
feel a total loss of control and you’ll gather speed until you crash
into the water at the bottom. Luckily there’ll be a life guard in
the water to help you gather yourself together again and climb shakily
out of the pool before the next group fly down and land on top of you!
Disabled People Can Enjoy The Costa Caribe Water Park Too
 |
| The Caribe Aquatic Park Is Popular
With Disabled Visitors |
During my visit I saw lots of people with disabilities enjoying the park.
They had come in their own wheelchairs, and were able to access most areas
of the park as the walkways are wide and smooth. They could also sit at
the edge of the wave pool.
Food And Drink At The Cost Caribe Water Park
 |
| There Are Numerous Snack Bars Throughout The Caribe Aquatic Park |
There are 7 bar/restaurants and 3 snack bars. The food is mainly baguettes,
burgers, chips or pizzas, and it’s quite expensive for what
it is. I had a cheese baguette (it didn’t come with any salad or
sauce) and an iced tea (that was warm with no ice) and it cost me 6.65
euros. I think you fair better if you eat meat as the fillings in the baguettes
are a bit heartier.
The Costa Caribe Water Park is not the biggest water park I have ever
been to but it’s good value for money. In August you have to try
and get in early if you want to rent a rubber ring that enable you to enjoy
all the rides, and take some extra money for locker and sunbed rental.
There are plenty of places to grab a snack and there’s an indoor
zone that stays open in the winter.
