Camping Salou: La Union - Campsite Location And Facilities
The campsite was full of young people when I visited in August. It had
a hippy feel to it.
The floor is of stone chippings and there was a mixture of camper vans
and also tents. There are also mobile homes. Some of the tents looked a
little squashed together, but perhaps they all knew each other!

There’s a cashpoint just outside in the wall of the campsite.
The campsite has 2 swimming pools.
The Surrounding Area Of La Union Campsite
Opposite the campsite is a shop where you can rent mopeds. Within 2 minutes
walk there are a couple of café bars with terraces.
It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach from the campsite.
The road that passes by the campsite is a main road but it not busy for
most of the day. There was a build up of traffic at the entrance to the site at the end of the day
when everyone was coming back from the beach.
How To Reserve A Space For Camping In Salou At La Union
The campsite is open from April until September and the receptionist told
me that you have to reserve about one month in advance. The price for a
tent starts at 5.50 euros per night, and it’s 5 euros per person per night
and 6.50 euros for a car.

The campsite ‘La Siesta’ has space for tents and it has quaint
little bungalows for rent as well. It’s in a good location if you
want easy access on foot to the beach and the commercial centre of Salou.
When I visited it seemed that the surrounding area was quite peaceful.

There are plenty of whitewashed wooden mobile homes available to
rent.

The
surface of the campsite is made of gravel, so if you’re
planning on staying in a tent you may need extra bedding to soften the surface.

There’s a large swimming pool with lots of surrounding space where
people were soaking up the sun, and there’s a poolside bar that serves
food.
The gate has really good security (I had trouble getting in to have a
look round as I wasn’t staying there!).

The campsite is set off from a pleasant tree-lined tranquil street
and it’s only 10 minutes walk to the Llevant beach.
How To Reserve A Space At Camping La Siesta
The receptionist told me that they are very busy in August and if you
want to be guaranteed of a space in August you need to make a booking as early as January.
Prices vary depending on the season but the starting price is 4.60 euros
per adult, plus 4.60 euros for a tent and 4.60 euors for a car. These prices
are for low season and do not include tax.

Camping Sanguli is at the end of the Ponent beach in Salou. Its best feature
is the stunning swimming pool that is really big and has lovely sculpted
water falls running into it. It offers spaces for tents and it has some
very nice bungalows for rent. There was a relaxed holiday atmosphere
when I visited.

There’s a good on-site supermarket and a centre where you can have
a massage. There’s a cash point inside the campsite too and excellent
security on the gate.
The campsite in general is very green and full of plants and trees. There
are tennis courts.
The floor is hard.
The Surrounding Area Of Camping Sanguli In Salou
It’s a 2 minute walk to the sandy beach of the Ponent.
There’s a tourist information office on the beach near to the campsite
and along the seafront road there’s a wide choice of bars and restaurants.
How To Reserve A Space At Camping Sanguli
Prices change depending on the season. You can rent the Tahiti Suite bungalow from 420 euros per week. This will sleep 6 people.

Why Go Camping In Salou?
There are 3 options for camping in Salou. Each campsite has its own unique
atmosphere with some being more suited to younger people and other better
suited to families. Each campsite is within a 15 minutes walk of the centre
of Salou. Always book early preferably in January if you want to camp here in the summer as spaces are limited.
